I popped into Baked Bar on Washington Blvd in Culver City..Best decision I could have made! Not only was the food amazing but the service was equally amazing!!! My new favorite bakery. I went in for a cup of coffee…but ended up getting a cup of dreamy camomile tea, a 1/2 loaf of roasted garlic sour dough, a melt in your mouth bacon breakfast sandwich, and 2 Vegan chocolate chip cookies for my kids! What a haul!! I love ❤️😘 this place!!
Great little bakery with diverse selection of pastries, including vegan options! We had the turkey provolone croissant, which was great although a little burnt; great crunch yet still buttery. Spinach egg breakfast sandwich was also delicious. Took the blueberry muffin and a baguette home to try, but looked great!
Best vegan & gluten free cake I’ve had in my entire life. They have other inclusive options too. My non vegan gf friends were extremely impressed as well. Do yourself a favor and order from here!
Love the citrus olive oil muffin, chocolate croissant, turkey provolone croissant, vegan pizza danish and scones here! Everything is delicious. Baked Bar is also one of my dog’s favorite places!
Everybody smiles here, I wonder why as soon as I walk through the door… clearly this is one of the best bakeries (if not the best) I tasted in Los Angles. WOW!!! Flaky, but not just flakes, croissants. Buttery inside with the perfect outside crunch that any bread lover deserves, and not only that, I didn’t have to wake up at 6am or do a crazy long line for it, I went at 11am on a Sunday and every single pastry was fresh, like just out of the oven. How fresh you might wonder? Every single bread that is in the case or shelf is fresh from that day! The 1-day old bread is lined in a shelf at 50%off. Everything tasted amazing and on point, and the service was very good. Thank you to every single one that works here for making my day an amazing day!
The Baked Bar is my FAVORITE cafe & bakery in LA! They always have a huge variety of delicious and freshly baked goodies. There always seems to be an enticing new option to taste! They have a ton of clearly labeled vegan options AND non-vegan options so everyone has something they can get. The staff are also incredibly friendly and helpful. It's also an absolute breeze to place orders - even ones that may not be typical. I ordered 2 cakes and a batch of their DELICIOUS pizza danishes for a birthday party and the process was super smooth! They were always happy to answer any questions and would confirm what I wanted to there weren't any misunderstandings. If you're looking for a cute place with yummy goods, delicious drinks, and friendly people - this is the place to go!
The Baked Bar is the spot you have been looking for. The selection is almost overwhelming. The seasonal strawberry croissant was our favorite. It was flaky, creamy, sweet and perfect. We also liked the turkey and provolone croissant. The owner is extremely friendly and remembered his regulars and treated them like family.
Baked Bar consistently offers the highest quality of flavor, aesthetic, and friendly service, and truly makes dreams come true! I was equally as impressed with this turn out as my nephew was, and can’t wait to place more orders in the future.
Occupying a space at Washington, despite their business on weekend, street parking was relatively easy to find. The space might look tiny in a glimpse but you could be surprised by how many seats were available including the mini outdoor one. I really appreciated the super kind gestures of all the staffs behind the showcase as well. They're super attentive in explaining what they served, which were a ton and might be overwhelming for first timer. Prepare yourself to be indecisive! Tons of options for pastries and cakes, and even more sandwiches plus other brekkie menu. It's awesome that sometimes they did have some samples to try, helping you having a bite before deciding what to get. I thankfully got to try their favorite Almond Hazelnut Chocolate croissant sample as I really wanted it yet they're out of stock already when I arrived Sunday noon. It was incredibly luscious with flaky and buttery pastry case, stuffed with flavorful filling. Hopefully got a full portion of you next time, fella! ;) I ended with their Cinnamon Streusel Coffee Cake, which looked stunning and huge. I was impressed by how dense yet moist it could be. I even couldn't finish it in one sitting. The crunchy and tasty streusel on top was surely the spotlight!
As soon as you walk in, you’re kind of impressed by all the bread and the other baked goods behind the glass and it smells lovely inside. The service was efficient and nice. I ordered it to drop coffee, and it went perfectly with the things that I ordered. The chocolate chip cookie I got here is probably the top three favorite chocolate chip cookies here in LA so far. The turkey croissant was absolutely delightful and I wasn’t planning on getting a second croissant, but I saw the pastrami with the pickle on top and I felt compelled to order it. I didn’t eat the pastrami croissant till later that day, but the lamination of the layers was so freaking spectacular these croissants make a freaking massive how likely they are. Don’t be afraid to get dirty and just bite in!
